Kat Wawer Dziedziak

MA Psychology (Clinical Specialisation), is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist (British Psychological Society) and Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with over twenty-five years of clinical experience, gained in both Poland and the United Kingdom.  She holds an MSc in Psychology (Clinical Specialist) from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Poland.  The British Psychological Society has assessed her qualifications, supervised training, and clinical experience as equivalent to the UK professional doctorate level.

Since 2011, she has been engaged as an Associate Chartered Psychologist with Forensic Psychology Practice Ltd., providing expert psychological services to social, health, and criminal justice agencies.  Her work includes conducting comprehensive assessments and preparing reports for the Family Courts and related legal proceedings.  These assessments involve adults, children, and families in childcare and protection cases, including those affected by trauma, substance misuse, domestic violence, neglect, neurodiversity, and cognitive or personality difficulties.  She utilises psychometric testing, clinical and semi-structured interviews, and contact observations to ensure evidence-based, balanced, and objective evaluations.

Her earlier professional experience includes work within mental health hospital, and a detention centre, as well as extensive practice in individual, couples, and family therapy.  She is trained in a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which underpin her trauma-informed approach. She maintains a strong commitment to continuous professional development through advanced training in neuropsychology, trauma, addictions, autism, and expert witness practice.  Her forensic work is conducted with professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and clinical rigour, ensuring that all assessments and reports contribute meaningfully to judicial and social care decision-making processes.  She is proficient in Polish and English and specialise in assessing clients for whom English is a second language.

BSc (Hons), ForenPsyD, C.Psychol, AFBPsS, is a Consultant Forensic Psychologist. She is a HCPC Registered and BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist and has extensive experience in providing expert witness reports in childcare and family matters.  She has well over 15 years experience in forensic and clinical settings, including psychological assessments of parents, children and adolescents in the context of Child Protection Proceedings; Assessment and treatment of offenders with Learning Disabilities, social and/or cognitive impairments; Treatment and assessment of domestic violence perpetrators and victims; working with female and male offenders with mental health difficulties and personality disorders; Assessment of psychopathic personality disorder; Treatment and assessment of violent offenders; Treatment and assessment of sex offenders; Psychological assessments and completion of risk assessment reports for determinant and indeterminate prisoners for parole board hearings and commissioner reviews for Northern Ireland and England HMPS; Psychological assessment of offenders under supervision of the Probation Services.  She currently manages NHS psychological services.

Wendy Morgan

Wendy Morgan

BSc, MSc, C.Psychol, is a Registered and Chartered Forensic Psychologist and an active psychologist member of the Parole Board.  She has over 20 years’ experience of working in forensic psychology and nearly 30 years’ experience of working in clinical settings.  She has been employed by or worked as a consultant to the NHS, Mencap, HM Prison Service, charities, schools and the police.  She also acts as an expert witness for the courts in relation to risk assessment and management.  She has previously written about prevention of sexual offences within South and Latin America and has provided training for staff working in the United States of America.  She was formerly the MSc Forensic Psychology course director at Glasgow Caledonian University and sat on the British Psychological Society MSc forensic psychology accreditation panel.

Irene Petrou

Irene Petrou

BSc (Hons), MSc Forensic Psychology, is a Senior Registered Forensic Psychologist at Forensic Psychology Practice Ltd and works as an Associate Forensic Psychologist.  Ms Petrou has contributed to the preparation of Expert Witness Psychology Reports for the UK Courts for over 4 years.  She was previously instructed as an Independent Expert Witness Psychologist in the Cypriot Courts and is licensed to provide reports in both Greek and English.

Ms Petrou has experience in assisting in report writing and assessments. She has completed training at ‘Agia Skepi’, a therapeutic community for drug users in Cyprus where she has interviewed and assessed adolescents and adults with regards to their risk of violence and other deviant behaviours.  Ms Petrou has experience of working in a neurology and psychiatric clinic where her responsibilities included conducting clinical diagnostic interviews with patients, administration of psychometric tests such as depression, anxiety and PTSD and preparation of topic materials for substance misuse focus groups. Her experience involves group sessions at elementary, middle and high schools with children and adolescents who presented deviant behaviours.  Lastly, working with the Red Cross Cyprus Miss Petrou has experience in a Refugee Camp and a Detention Centre where she provided psychosocial support through open group sessions based on research informed protocols.
